Steelcon Sp. z o.o. is implementing a project co-financed by European Funds titled “Purchase and implementation of an intelligent production management system for container and waste bin equipment components.
The goal of the project is to optimize the production process of container and waste bin equipment components by automatically allocating production tasks within 5 seconds, considering the most efficient path for completing all production orders and maximizing the use of available employee and machine work time. This objective will be achieved through the implementation of the IPO system, which independently controls the work of employees and machines, taking into account the real-time status of resources, orders and the situation on the production line. Without the involvement of planners or direct supervisors, the system makes optimal decisions regarding the sequence of execution and resource selection for each technological task. The IPO system allows production managers to get more time for other operations than constantly to carry out complex planning, logistics processes and direct task assignments. The effects of project implementation include, among others, reduced production costs, increased process efficiency, full control over order completion deadlines, and maximum utilization of bottlenecks in the executed processes.
Project date: 2021-05-01 to 2022-06-30
Total value of the project: 533 205,00 PLN
UE funds: 368 475,00 PLN
